Instead of black, if you like very dark nails but a total black look isn't your thing, choose an inky navy blue. You'll maintain the depth of the design while adding a distinct blue tone.

Autumn Twilight – Combine Ink Blue with cool Turbo Teal to create a look inspired by the transition from a crisp autumn day to a dark evening.

Dark accent – ​​use Ink Blue on selected nails as the darkest point of the entire composition. The intense navy blue contrasts beautifully with lighter colors and adds depth to the design.

 

Application tips 

Wash and disinfect your hands and the client's. Put on gloves. Assess the condition of the client's hands and nails to ensure there are no contraindications to the procedure.

  1. Push back the cuticles with a hoof or stick and work them with cutters.
  2. Use a buffer to thoroughly matt the plate.
  3. Remove dust with a soft brush.
  4. Using a dust-free cotton swab and Cleaner No. 1, thoroughly degrease the plate.
  5. Apply the appropriate primer – Acid Free Primer or Acid Primer.
  6. Apply a thin layer of your chosen base and cure it for 30 seconds in the MultiLed lamp.
  7. Apply a second, thicker coat of base coat to gently smooth or build up the nail, if necessary. You can smooth the base coat with a thin brush, such as Master Nail Art 007, or turn your hand to use gravity to shape the upper arch of the nail. Cure the design again. Due to the thicker layer, you can extend the curing time to 60 seconds in a MultiLed lamp.
  8. Apply the first layer of Ink Blue without pressing the brush against the nail plate and cure for 30 seconds in the MultiLed lamp.
  9. Cover the nail plate with a second coat of color. You can even out the cuticle area and side ridges using the Master Nail Art brush 004 or 006. Cure in a MultiLed lamp for 30 seconds.
  10. Secure the style with a top coat, e.g. Hugo Gloss or Anti Scratch, and place your hands under the lamp again for 30-60 seconds.
  11. Wait about 60 seconds for the top to cool.
  12. If you chose a top coat with a sticky layer*, remove it with a cotton pad soaked in Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner.
  13. To add even more shine to your nails, you can finally buff them with a dry cotton pad.

* You don't need to wipe off a non-sticky top coat with Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner. After waiting 1 minute, you can apply your chosen Shea Elixir with keratin to the nail folds.

PRO TIP

When applying the gel polish, don't press the brush from the gel polish bottle against the nail surface. Use a light touch, allowing the creamy formula to spread evenly and level out. This will prevent streaks and create a smooth, intensely inky surface.
