To achieve the best results with the stamping plate, follow these guidelines for preparing the nail surface and transferring designs.
For hybrid nail designs:
Cover the nail with a matte top coat or buff the surface (e.g., with a 180/240 grit buffer), then clean thoroughly with a lint-free wipe soaked in Cleaner 1.
For gel design:
After filing, apply a matte top coat or buff the surface (e.g., with a 180/240 grit buffer), then clean thoroughly with Cleaner 1.
For classic protein polish:
-
Wait until the color layer is completely dry.
-
Clean the selected design on the plate with Nail Polish Remover, Cleaner Wipe Off, or a classic cleaner.
-
Once the nail and plate are ready, proceed with stamping:
-
Apply stamping polish to your chosen design. A slightly thicker, vertically applied layer works best.
-
Use the scraper to spread the polish evenly across the design in a swift motion.
-
Using the silicone stamper, pick up the design quickly and without pressing too hard.
-
If the stamper picks up unwanted parts of the design, clean them off using adhesive tape, a lint roller, or nail forms.
-
Transfer the design onto the nail by lightly pressing and rolling the stamper across the nail surface to ensure complete adhesion.
-
If parts of the design extend onto the skin, carefully remove them with a wooden stick. Do not attempt to remove them prematurely to avoid damaging the design on the nail.
-
Once the design is dry, secure it with a top coat, applying gently to avoid smudging, and cure under a lamp.
Cleaning Tips:
Never clean the stamper or scraper with Cleaner 1 as it may damage the surface. Instead, use adhesive tape, lint rollers, or a gentle cleaning solution like Cleaner Wipe Off.
To clean the plate, use a lint-free wipe soaked in Nail Polish Remover. For stamping with gels, Cleaner Wipe Off is ideal.
If gel cures on the plate, soak a lint-free pad in Remover and leave it on the plate for a few minutes before cleaning with Cleaner Wipe Off. Alternatively, soak the plate in warm water and carefully remove the cured gel using a wooden stick.
PRO TIP:
Handle the plate gently when cleaning. Scratching the surface with a stick or tool may damage the patterns and affect stamping quality.
Keep your tools clean and well-maintained for long-lasting results.
