Extension on nail forms:
Wash hands, disinfect, and wear gloves.
Assess the condition of the client's hands and nails.
Clean the nail plate and push back cuticles using a cuticle pusher or wooden stick.
Buff the nail plate using a 180-grit file, buffer, or mandrel with a 240-grit sanding band.
Remove dust with a dusting brush.
Degrease using Cleaner 1.
Apply Acid-Free Primer or Acid Primer for more demanding nail plates.
Apply a nail form.
Apply a thin layer of base coat, e.g., Protein Base or Perfect Base, on the natural nail and cure in a MultiLed lamp for 30 seconds.
Apply the first layer of gel to the nail plate and form to create the so-called skeleton (cure in the lamp).
Apply a second, thicker building layer of gel, taking into account the correct nail structure (apex and upper arch), then cure in a MultiLed lamp for 60 seconds.
Remove the form.
Wipe off the sticky layer using Cleaner Wipe Off.
Shape and refine the surface using a 100/180-grit file.
Smooth the surface with a 100/180-grit buffer.
Apply a chosen Top Coat, e.g., Wet Look, Tip Top, Super Matte; cure in a MultiLed lamp for 30 seconds.
Strengthening the natural nail plate:
Wash hands, disinfect, and wear gloves.
Assess the condition of the client's hands and nails.
